• README's <!-- AUTO-STATS --> badge was stuck at "v0.12.2 · 244 tests" - three releases stale (real state: v0.12.4, 252 tests at time of writing). Found via a documentation-claims audit; the AUTO-STATS markers imply automation that doesn't actually exist (confirmed - no script in this repo regenerates them), so this drifted silently across multiple releases. No code changes in this release; it exists specifically so the corrected README reaches PyPI, which only refreshes its displayed README on a new upload, not from a live GitHub pull.
• Re-verified (not just carried over) the three headline capability claims in the README - 6 vector backends, 8 embedding providers, 12+ generation providers - against real source counts. All still exactly accurate.
